This 5,000 sf gathering hall is located at Red Maple Vineyard in West Park NY. Intended as a  hybrid indoor- outdoor space, this building was envisioned as a permanent replacement for a giant white tent that had been used to host wedding receptions. The owners wanted something that would blend into the existing complex of old barn buildings, and complement their eclectic style. This was a very beautiful and unique site to work with; big stone walls, low hanging trees and the existing barn complex created a very interesting and dramatic surrounding. Massive timber trusses crown the interior space, and their interesting geometry extends up into the light filled cupola. Custom fabricated metal sliding doors wrap almost the entire building, and combined with the metal truss hardware, bring a decidedly industrial touch to the building.
